CVST represents ~ 1% of strokes. It most commonly affect young individuals with transient (pregnancy, use of oral contraceptives) or permanent (thrombophilia) predisposing conditions. Several studies showed a delay in the diagnosis and treatment, a common cause of neurological deterioration that results in poor clinical outcomes. This webinar will offer a comprehensive approach to increase awareness among neurologists & SSO members on the recognition of initial symptoms, the diagnosis and management of patients with CVST.
