Based on the success of the joint ESOC-WSC in 2020 and in responsibility to the delegates, their families, and our industry partners, we decided to go virtual again for WSC 2021. We are certain COVID will influence our work and life until late 2021 across the world and in-person gatherings of large crowds would pose an unacceptable risk. We aim to make this meeting an unforgettable experience with new virtual formats, presentations of the latest and most impactful research, ample room for discussions and networking, and strong live components. We will also collaborate with two live local meetings in the US (RAISE on Stroke Prevention) and in the Netherlands (International Symposium on Thrombolysis, Thrombectomy and Acute Stroke Therapy – TTST).
