Dear colleagues and friends,
To improve the quality of care and psychosocial support available globally, the WSO and WSA are looking at increasing the awareness around the topic of Life After Stroke. By improving the knowledge and facilitating tools and resources for advocacy for healthcare providers, people living with stroke and caregivers, the WSA Life After Stroke program aims to help in closing the existing gaps and raise the awareness around important topics such as the management of stroke-related spasticity, depression and anxiety, dementia and cognitive impairment and more.
Make sure to check our newly built #LifeAfterStroke page, hosting all the educational material developed around the topics of stroke rehabilitation and recovery such as webinars, e-learning modules, podcasts, stroke checklists and more!
Yours,
the WSA team: Gustavo Saposnik (Canada), Editor –in– Chief; Anita Arsovska (North Macedonia), Associate Commissioning Editor; Laura Ceci Galanos (Greece), Executive Manager; Rodrigo Guerrero (Chile), Social Media Leader; Florencia Casagrande (Argentina), Communications Specialist.
