Biography

Anita Wiseman is a freelance communications professional based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has a Degree in Film and Media Studies and a MSc in Public Relations and has worked for over 20 years as a public health communicator.  She currently leads the development and delivery of the World Stroke Campaign on behalf of the World Stroke Organization.

Anita holds a strong commitment to equality and in previous roles has experience in organizational equality audit, as well experience of working to advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights of women around the world. She is a Trustee of an educational charity focused on ensuring access to education for vulnerable and disadvantaged children in sub-Saharan Africa, and a proud solo-parent to a feisty 7 year old daughter.
