Women in Stroke – Valeria Caso

We are taking International Women’s Day (March 8) as an occasion to celebrate the achievements and careers of women in stroke and highlight female leadership. We asked WSO board members to participate in this initiative and nominate outstanding women, who made important contributions to the field of stroke (stroke medicine/stroke research/stroke advocacy). In total, 70 (!) women representing all continents were nominated. Throughout March we released short podcasts and written interviews with selected female nominees and share them on the WSA Twitter and on the WSO website.
